Curriculum

Medical Assistant (MA) Program 

Program Objective: Our program aims to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and training necessary for professional certification and entry into the healthcare system as competent and compassionate entry-level medical assistants. Key knowledge domains include cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior).

What You’ll Learn

  • Vital sign assessment for patients of all ages, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, pulse oximetry, and respirations. You’ll also master the art of taking comprehensive medical histories to gather vital patient information.
  • Assisting physicians with physical exams and minor office procedures, such as patient positioning and preparation for various medical procedures.
  • Comprehensive training in basic first aid and CPR, ensuring you possess essential life-saving skills.
  • Preparing and administering oral and injectable medications as per provider orders, guaranteeing accurate and timely treatment administration.
  • Familiarity with common medical abbreviations, terminology, and an introduction to medical technology and informatics.

These program fees not only cover the tuition itself, but additionally NHA CCMA/CET/CPT Certification Exams and books. Payment plans are available.
